Narrowband IOT, also known as LTE Cat NB1, is an emerging LPWAN technology. It connects devices more easily and efficiently on the already established 4G (LTE) mobile network. It is dimensioned to receive and send small amounts of data and is completely secure and reliable. NB-IOT uses a specific frequency that is strong enough to pass through thick walls and can even be used underground. As a result, it offers coverage in challenging situations.
With NB-IOT communication, data is accessed from a 'device'. A secure SIM card is placed in a 'device'. The APN provided by us must be configured in the settings of the device. The intelligent SIM card then has access to the NB-IOT network. The device can then establish a successful connection and is assigned an IP address.
